Passports and ID cards

National Police Directorate

You must be a Norwegian citizen to get a Norwegian passport or ID card. You must book an appointment online before appearing at the passport and ID office. To renew a foreign passport, you must contact your home country's embassy or consulate in Norway.

Separation and divorce - forms

County Governor - Statsforvalteren

A married couple who no longer wish to live together can apply for separation and divorce. It is not necessary for both of you to agree on the separation, and there is no duty to give reasons. The county governor will contact your spouse if you apply alone. Application forms should be sent to the County Governor's Office in the county where the couple last lived together.

Altinn

Norwegian Digitalisation Agency

Altinn is a web portal for electronic dialogue between the business/industry sector, citizens and government agencies. Altinn is also a technical platform which public sector can use to produce digital services.

Order, view or change your tax deduction card

Norwegian Tax Administration

When you have logged in, you can order, view or change your tax deduction card. If you earn NOK 60,000 or less during the year, you do not have to pay tax. In this case, you can order an exemption card instead.

 

Reporting a move from Norway

You must notify the tax office in Norway if you intend to leave Norway to go to a country outside the Nordic countries. If you are moving to another Nordic country, the move only needs to be reported in the country you are moving to.
